The projects in which the Department is involved are in the areas of transportation (roads, light trains, etc.), Water desalination / purification plants, construction and energy, with a total scope of about 6 billion Dollars. By definition, large-scale national infrastructure projects have large budgets and require cooperation and working with a large number of entities, both government and private, at all stages of project conception, planning and implementation. The Accountant General’s office is responsible for managing all such entities, with the aim of finding comprehensive solutions for the management of the various processes related to the implementation of the projects. |
