Project with BOT financing for construction, operation and maintenance of the “Fast Lane to Tel-Aviv” initiative.
The additional route to be constructed is approximately 9 km. long and will serve as a public transportation route, as well as for private vehicles as a toll lane (density toll).
The minimum speed limit in the toll lane will be 70 km/hr. A “Park & Ride” parking lot will also be built close to Shapirim interchange. Operation of the project will include free shuttle buses from the parking area to the Ramat Gan Stock Exchange area and the Kirya compound in Tel Aviv.

"Shaphir Fast Lane" won the tender and will start financial negotiations which will be completed by May 2007 in preparation for initiation of the construction work.

The contract period, including establishment period:
30 years, including a 3 year construction period.
